Honoring Our
First Peoples:
DIVINA WORLD Foundation, along with its Board of Directors and Advisory Council, acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Penutian Family, including the Wintun,(People of the West Wind) and the Ohlone (People of the Coast). The Wintun are the original inhabitants and stewards of Northern California, from Solano County to the Bay Area, while the Ohlone have historically inhabited and stewarded the land from San Francisco to Monterey, CA.
These communities have never ceded or forgotten their role as caretakers of this land and its people.
As guests, we recognize the privilege of living and working here. We pay our deepest respects to the ancestors, elders, and relatives of these communities, affirming their sovereign rights as First Peoples.
